A Popular Movement for Women Empowerment and Poverty Eradication
Kudumbashree is a state-level mission formed by the Government of Kerala for poverty eradication and women empowerment. Launched on May 17, 1998, Kudumbashree has today become one of the largest women's networks in the world.
Kudumbashree operates through a three-tier system comprising Neighbourhood Groups (NHG), Area Development Societies (ADS), and Community Development Societies (CDS).
